Today we will be telling you, which are the best monitors for the RTX 3070. You might be wondering why we do this so late, and that’s because Nvidia has made one of the best graphic cards in a long, long time. We decided to put it in our tests and see if it really deserves the hype or not.
There are many gaming monitors for RTX 3070 currently available, but not all of them have the features that make them worth the money. If you aren’t aware of what these are, you could spend a lot of hard-earned cash on a monitor that doesn’t qualify as “good”. This article will help you avoid that mistake.
Display Resolution
If you are planning on buying a 144Hz monitor for gaming, you need to know a few things about the three most popular display resolutions. These are: 1080p, 1440p, and 4k. Every monitor is different in one way or another, which makes it vital to know your needs and requirements before finalizing your purchase. I started to search for a gaming monitor in the last year that would give me the highest refresh rate. I knew that using a 60Hz monitor for gaming can significantly reduce your performance because of the frame rate. I’ve tested most 144Hz monitors and found out that there is no best one. Having such a display will definitely boost up your game, but only if you know what you’re buying.
When I bought my 144Hz monitor, I was fairly new in the world of competitive gaming. At that time I just started using a BenQ XL2411Z which I absolutely loved. It was very suitable for my needs at a time. However, recently most games have been dropping to 60fps thanks to recent updates and so I wanted to be able to pick up a monitor that would also allow me to get more frames per second in some of them.
So then 144Hz monitors came into the mind where after reading tons of information about them and even consulting with friends who had 144Hz monitors myself, I decided it was something worth trying out as it seemed to be the next logical step when you play competitive games and you want that edge over other players
Response Time
What is the response time for monitors? It’s the time it takes to shift from one color to another. This is usually measured in the time it takes to go from black to white back again to black expressed in milliseconds (ms). However, there is also gray-to-gray (GtG) and sometimes even just black-to-white.
Response time is defined as the time it takes for pixels on a monitor’s screen to shift from one color to another; specifically, from black to white to black again. This measurement is expressed in milliseconds (ms).
In short, response time is how long it takes to make the transition between brightness or color values. Response time can be measured in black-to-white, gray-to-gray, or black-to-white to gray-to-gray transitions. Speedy response times are important because how long a screen takes to shift will directly affect the user’s satisfaction and productivity. So the faster the response time of a monitor, the better and easier it is to work with.
Monitor response time or just response time is the time it takes for a pixel to react to a change in voltage. At first, this may seem simple: if a pixel is black and one voltage is applied, it becomes white; if white and then a different voltage is applied, it becomes black again. However, how quickly a black-to-white transition can happen depends on the monitor’s GtG/RTG. This GtG/RTG is what many people are referring to when they talk about it or B2W/RtB response time.
The range of response time (Rt) can be measured in different ways, too. There is what is called black-to-white (W), which is indicated by a measurement from black to white. This value will not take into consideration gray-to-gray response time.
Response time is usually measured in milliseconds, with a lower number being better. It measures how fast a pixel can shift from one color to another.
